The last three weeks here in Houston were very very good. There is much going on, but we have so many intense time with God and experience His love and power every day, we see how he gives people new hope and new life, as he heals, loves and forgives.

Tuesday nights were the last few weeks indescribably good. In the early evening we always go to a corner in 1960 where we see every week, always the same good people. Homeless people come to tell just pray and of course with food, clothes etc. are supplied. There you can build right relationships, totally beautiful, but sometimes so sad to see how many people simply do not get away from the streets or just can not say no to drugs. "Dad," for example comes in Sunday with the congregation and he likes it there so super, he's such a dear ... this week he told me he sold just still here on the streets of drugs and also taking itself and somehow a part of it ... is so sad, how I wish that he finally break this cycle times can and can simply get away from addiction and the lies and God makes him free! Another pair, however, has seen such great things with God, they were both for so long on the streets ... now they have a car, an apartment and a job and they are engaged, and hopefully free of drugs ... total cool!
Anyway, we go downtown and then on to visit many of the large homeless under a bridge next to the "spaghetti Wearhouse" sleep. This week was incredible. Leah (from Ireland, sintering of this year) and I have met directly and tells Jimmy that long. It was nice to hear that he is a believer and God has really saved him so many times in his life, his faith has given us umgehaun really ... he said "many people think all homeless people are evil, but that's not even" . How true! These people are so kind and have the most crass life stories! We prayed with Jimmy and he still had snacks and given a Bible, about which he was so happy, and soon after began to read extensively!
An elderly lady I had met a few weeks and this Tuesday she was back again - karen. Incredibly, she has a bachelor's degree in science and lives on the street, her 3 children all died in the middle of 30 ... she hopes the end of April an apartment and a job ... I have to pray that God will help ...
It's just a brilliant opportunity to these people a little time to spend! Sometimes they tell without a break, just enjoy it, that someone will listen.

This morning we have on storms in our lives ... somehow spoken God has placed the number of people in the group on his heart.
We all go through storms and difficult times in our lives, and we are is all in a boat that rocks back and forth constantly, but God with us ... he is with us and we can trust him that he does it for us provides. Tuesday morning had our Valentine's party at the beautiful ladies who have HIV. Millie and I and our team have prepared cool stuff. Games, creative, food, prayer and worship, and community. All the ladies got a little Valentine's Day gift and a rose, what was so special for them. I believe God has many geprochen ... and I hope he continues to show them how amazing and he loves them unconditionally and how valuable and special they are for him! These ladies enrich our lives ...

This Saturday Josh and Debs got a little 5 month old boy as a foster child. We are all looking forward to using the little ones. The mother knows Debs long and Wednesday at Church Street, we have also seen it again and a long talk with her. She is unfortunately not able to have her child, but she is glad that he is with us and in good hands. It is so sad to see how many of these young mothers try it ... they do love to be a good mother, but are not able to. Often they are tied to men, drugs or alcohol ... some have problems with anger and the child can simply not the love, affection and education indicate that it needs. Even my girlfriend
Kindria of Church Street has 4 of her children in foster care. Their middle son, although it has the time again and although I see how hard they tried hard and he loves the little fuelt not so well, and wanted this week to Church Street, not with his mother and her new betrothed to go, he was crying and she had to be tucked under the arm to the car haul ... that breaks your heart. More, they told me then that she is pregnant again! She wants to be such a family, and her twins also have to get back ... it's so hard sometimes ... I wish so much that this wish will come true for them, but most important is the good times now the child and unfortunately it's the twins in her foster parents so so good. My opinion:
In 1988, Anja torn from their lives. The question of "Why" while no one answered her.
A sad and unfortunately true point from our history is addressed in this book. Although protagonists and act freely invented, but unfortunately, they describe the then all too real life in the GDR. Not only adults were prosecuted for "subversive" opinions and actions or imprisoned, including children were not spared. Those who do not fit into the picture was re-educated and that is what should happen in this book with Anja.
The easy to understand writing style and the explanations at the end of the book, the story is as exciting as youth for adult readers.
It has a share in the feelings and thoughts of the protagonist, which made me almost homemade affected in some way.
"locked up" is a riveting, shocking, moving book with just the right mix of excitement, sadness and hope.

Long have I yearned for the third volume with Commissioner Dühnfort, after the spectacular end of the preceding even more. Good that the Commissioner stay with us, and may speculate on, because I like him.
"How miserable you" shines again by a fine and brilliant writing style. The police before is a shocking case, because a serial killer murdered young women, beheaded her and then disposed of them easily. well told, we experience the story from the perspective of the young woman Vicky, the photograph in an old brewery and a corpse discovered in the view of Dühnfort, beginning with his team in a desperate race against time, for it seems to be a serial offender.
I like the protagonists, especially the Commissioner, and Vicky, who tries to own the offender to get wise.
The book can be read is catchy, modern languages at a high level and exciting to the end, because there are several suspects and each of them acts guilty.

The Brazilian Kutur is so chilled and relaxed, people enjoy life in peace and serenity. Rarely there is stress or time pressure or stress, each moment is lived simply. My job was actually at the meetings to give input, to support them in prayer and say a few times on stage. But basically, I'm as good as every single day spent with the teens, which I just loved! I was able to build valuable friendships and there were so many "Divine Appointments".
More and more I realized how God use me just in the lives of teenagers would like, just to be there for them to talk, to encourage them to comfort, to pray with them, challenge them to be a friend! And if it would only have been, it was so worth it to be there! I know many teens that God has given new hope, a certainty that He is with them through the dark valley, that He is with them. And also that they are called to go out and as David for God's glory to fight and the "giant" and the world's problems such as poverty, human trafficking, etc. to fight world! It was fantastic.

Together with a group of transvestites have some saopaulo we visited in their homes to pray with them to talk to us. It was really good, very sad to see that their identity is just completely confused and do not know how much God loves them and how wonderfully He has created. But go through the many suffering and misery which these men had just left so many broken.
In Slums were some of the children in the house ... but it was strange that they were laughing and giggling. When we were out I was treated funny. As I held the hand of a transsexual wanted to slum children do not touch me suddenly more and have said that I should only wash their hands. Ultimately, there was still hugs and should I hold her hand again, but this time I found so shocking. These men are simply excluded, expelled, condemned! And yet Jesus would be with them and would just tell them that he can make her heart again and can give them a new life. It was amazing to see how some of the people have lived such a life even once and take care of now for the same people with so much compassion and love.

In Sao Paulo there is a road that is called "crack-land." It is literally a road where hundreds of people live homeless and are based on crack. I think it is the worst poverty that I have ever seen in my life! It's just awful to see young boys and girls with yellow eyes and emaciated crack small bodies. Many pregnant women, little babies, hopelessly caught in this vicious cycle of dependence ...
The only thing we could do in this terrible road was rolls and drinks to give, and much to pray continuously! If you look in the eyes of these people and especially children, it breaks your heart! These children will die in a few years of this miserable drug! Brazil needs help, help of God and the people and the government in Brazil! There is so much help there. And there is so much that it is overlooked, it can not. And just around the corner from crack country is one of the richest neighborhood in Sao Paulo. I am sure that many of these people do not have the slightest idea of what goes on there.
Many people here see this kind of poverty just as a part of their culture and their country that they do not see the urgency and rely not feel, do something about it!

Saturday night I had the honor in a community something about my last year with God and tell about our work here in Houston. It was exciting to talk about what God has shown me all last year, and how work has changed in the "mission" and my life has opened my eyes to the world! I encouraged the young people and challenged to a part of God's kingdom here on earth, in their country of Brazil, in their town, just around the corner where drugs dealt, women are prostitutes and street children have no food.

I am still so overwhelmed by how easy everything went so well, and as is the door has opened for Brazil, it was a unique experience. I hope so much that the door opens again at some point. I must say that I've fallen in love with piecewise culture, language and country. And now that I've seen the great need with my own eyes, I would like to someday go again for a while there.
