My Balls Hurt When I Bend Over

Diving in

Ich will euch gerne nochmal recall briefly the various projects and services of Young Hope.

work with HIV-positive women:
Every Tuesday morning we go into a facility for women with HIV. We have a small prayer, songs, food, good conversation, and artistic projects.
have in the past week we wrapped over 100 gifts for the ladies. These Christmas gifts are for the ladies something very special! In a few weeks there will be a big Christmas party with presents.
On Sunday there was already a Christmas dinner with Woods Edge (the community here in the Woodlands).
There are 4 tables, covered with the ladies, and all beautiful and very enthusiastic about the evening program, carols, Food and fellowship.

5Oaks:
5oaks is a trailer-park, home to many Hispanic families. Every Sunday afternoon we meet about 20 children there, who have been waiting for us to tinker with them, and to play football and then to eat pizza! These children are pleased with any attention they get, and about encouraging and uplifting words. Next weekend we put on Woods Edge with a team of a basketball court in the park, which is a huge surprise for the kids! amazing to see what has become of this service! I have my beginning of the year, we simply went to that park to play football with some children and now is a big Project become of it, be where the needs of vulnerable families and actively helped!

Street Church: Take
Every Wednesday evening we to downtown Houston for there to be part of a church service on a large parking lot! Hundreds of people come every week to get clothing to be supplied with food, and to a church service on the street have. There are homeless people, prostitutes, drug addicts, families living on the street. With many volunteers, a cool program is offered for the people. There is a snack, music, games, a sermon, by the way child care, and later gifts and a hot meal!
It was wonderful again to see familiar faces, yesterday when I looked through the ranks. A 19 year old girl was kicked out of a home, stood with her suitcase and a backpack, totally ready! she told me her story! It breaks your heart, for what must by pain and suffering some people go! I've prayed for them and will continue to do so. It was supplied with food, and a bit of money and is now as fast as you can get into a program where they can do all the things she has done through process and get help!
but I realize again how hard is it to go home at night to think in his own cozy bed ... and this young girl that has no one from father and mother failed, abused by people leaving, in despair, broken!
BUT, there is an omnipotent God, a father who loves them unconditionally and infinity and will never leave! A God who wants to make it safe to give her willund peace, love, hope, and a fulfilling life! If you guys find time, just say a prayer for that girl!

... continued about the services here soon, is easy to tell too much at once ....

I'm doing very well so far. It's nice to be here again and again to be able to immerse themselves in the work! Am blessed with infinite love of my family and all the lovely people here. The weather is beautiful and warm, morning and evening, it is somewhat fresh.
Beautiful moments I had with the love Kleinloh this week, something very special!
I always look forward to news of you!

I wish you all a wonderful pre-Christmas time!

Love, Lisa
